Rathaus Marktplatz, a place for beautiful cheap flowers!

While walking to go shopping on Saturday we found where the Market is, at the Rathaus. We had no need to stop and get things, since we are still doing the hotel livin' thing. There were just so many flowers and plants, that we had to stop and look!

On a search for flowers..

I found a cute little shop called Blumen Schmid on Böblinger Straße.
This shop was so cute! Lots of cute little plants sitting on the sidewalk, beautiful bouquets and containers inside, and there was a gorgeous vanda orchid hanging in the window.
Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures of the shop. I was already half way to the shop when I realized I had forgotten my camera.
I'm definitely going back there and when I do, I will be sure to bring my camera with me!
I purchased a gorgeous hand-tied bouquet made out of purple dutch hydrangea, sedum, and black berries. I also bought a bunch of mini sunflowers, a bunch of matsumoto asters, and 2 vases. I believe all of this cost me about 26,00€.

Gorgeous hand-tied bouquet.
Sunflowers and Asters.
How cute are these candies?!

Stopping to smell the flowers.

Every now and then we all need to take a break and smell the flowers.
It's especially needed after a day of dealing with a huge to-do list. Just a few minutes to gain composure, then it's back to the list that seems a mile long. There are not enough hours in the day! Or maybe I'm just too excited to stay focused? We just booked our one-way tickets to Germany! It's now time to inventory the house, sell & donate things, and then organize for the movers. Oh, and squeeze in some family time.

Here are some flowers I spotted today:
